Content Guidelines

SoMon is an app where users are free to express their views. Nonetheless, everyone must be mindful to keep SoMon a space that is enjoyable and fun for everyone.

Basic Guidelines

1. Respect Others :

Any form of discrimination, harassment, or cyberbullying is prohibited.

Respect others' opinions and privacy. Do not post others' personal information such as address.

2. No Explicit Content :

Posts containing explicit images or content will be removed from feed (Both Home Feed and Tribe).

Users confirmed to have posted explicit content will have 500 points deducted and will no longer be recommended. Some users may also be banned and have a 5000 points deduction if the post is too exaggerated.

Users confirmed to have posted explicit content will be flagged as "Blacklisted". "Blacklisted" users will no longer be able to be seen by other users.

3. No Illegal Activities :

Any form of illegal activity, including but not limited to copyright infringement, fraud, and spreading malware, is prohibited.

4. Content Review :

All posted content must comply with community standards. Administrators have the right to remove inappropriate content within the Tribe they own.

Depending on the severity, violating posts will be deleted, and 500 points will be deducted.

5. Spamming :

Any form of spam, including but not limited to advertisements, duplicate posts, and Tribe-irrelevant content, is prohibited.

All spammers who got their 70% of points deducted could be found in this Google Sheet.

6. Plagiarism Policy :

We take plagiarism seriously and will not tolerate any form of content duplication in our community. If you are found to have plagiarized content from another user on SoMon, you will be subject to the following penalties:

• Deduction of 100 points from your account

To report plagiarism of any sort, please fill our form and provide the following information:

• A screenshot of the original content and the plagiarized content

• Links to both the original and the plagiarized content

Our Team will review the report and take prompt and appropriate action. We encourage all users to respect the original work of others and uphold the integrity of our community.

Penalties

Members who violate the above guidelines will be subject to appropriate penalties based on the severity of the violation, including but not limited to warnings and point deductions.

Appeal Mechanism

If members have objections to the penalties, they can appeal through designated channels on Discord Ticket. The management team will investigate and handle the appeal upon receipt.

Updates and Revisions

These guidelines will be updated and revised periodically according to the development and needs of the community. Members are encouraged to stay updated with the latest announcements.
